Realme 12 pro retain the design of earlier realme series 11 which comes with leather Back it makes some design changes in the looks.You still get a leather finish, which looks premium and offers a good grip on the phone.But it attracts lots of dust and the phone gets dirty without a case. It has 240 Hz touch sampling rate.The refresh rate is by default set to Auto, which means the device will automatically switch between 60Hz, 90Hz and 120Hz depending on the content. While scrolling on Instagram or Google Discover, the refresh rate isn’t set to 120Hz and it is either 60Hz or 90Hz. For a smoother experience, you can simply enable default to 120Hz in the settings.

Processor
It comes with Snapdragon 6 gen 1(4nm) which performs good in daily usage but this is not a powerful processor If we look at benchmark scores, the Realme 12 Pro scored 930 in single-core test and 2757 in multicore, which is much lower than some of its rivals in the similar price range.
If we look for thermals, the device doesn’t get warm even after playing the game for about 30 minutes. The temperature rises slightly after about one hour of gaming, which is good and happens with every mid range phone. The good thing is it doesn’t get too-hot.

Real 12 pro comes with a 5,000 mAh battery . With heavy usage involving games, I lost 10 percent of my battery in about 30 minutes and 4 percent battery in about 15 minutes with light usage. So, the battery life is solid, but do keep in mind that your results could vary depending on the usage. The company has given support for 67W fast charging support and that can charge your battery from 10 percent to 100 percent in about 40 minutes
Software support
Out of the box it comes with Android 14 based on realme UI 5.0 . It has an Android security patch for December 2023. The phone should get 2 Android updates and 3 years of security updates, similar to other phones.
